Fitur Unggulan Photoshop CS6

Setelah lama ditunggu oleh para pecinta desain grafis, akhirnya keluar (release) juga program pengolah gambar dari Adobe pada tanggal 25 April 2012 yaitu nama program tersebut adalah Photoshop CS6. Adobe Photoshop CS6 ini bisa disebut juga Photoshop Versi 13.

Fitur - Fitur yang diunggulkan pada Photoshop CS6 berdasarkan rangkuman dari pihat Adobe:

1). Photoshop CS6 menjanjikan para desainer akan mendapatkan pengalaman performa yang menakjubkan, yang didukung oleh Adobe Mercury Graphics Engine,

memungkinkan hasil diperoleh dalam waktu hampir seketika dari alat-alat edit yang penting termasukLiquify, Puppet Warp, Transform dan Lighting Effects.

2). Fitur Content Aware ini sudah ada sejak Photoshop CS4 namun terus dikembangkan dengan menambahkan Patch untuk menyempurnakan fitur tersebut

Sekarang Adobe telah membangun terobosan berupa kemampuan Content-Aware pada Photoshop, dengan fitur-fitur baru Content-Aware Patch dan Content Aware Move. di IG juga telah diterbitkan tutorialCara penggunaan Content Aware

3). Peningkatan lainnya ada di new crop tool

Crop image / memotong image diklaim lebih cepat dan presisi dengan tambahan Mercury Graphics Engine.

4). Photoshop CS6 ini juga memiliki fitur seperti Camera RAW yang berfungsi untuk menciptakan foto yang lebih detail.

Wide Angle Correction untuk mengoreksi garis-garis yang melengkung pada foto serta fitur Field Blur agar foto tampil dengan latar belakang yang tampak blur.

5). Peningkatan fitur lainnya yaitu Auto-recovery yaitu back up otomatis jika terjadi hal - hal yang tidak diinginkan seperti komputer mendadak restart / hang, Improved auto corrections fungsinya yaitu mengoreksi warna hasil foto / gambar, Layer search untuk mempercepat mencari layer yang diinginkan. Selain itu, terdapat fitur vector tool yang dapat digunakan untuk menghasilkan garis putus-putus, pengguna juga bisa mengedit video serta melakukan import file dari Adobe Illustrator. Versi retail untuk software ini akan dibanderol dengan harga USD699 untuk Standar Edition (versi biasa) dan USD899 untuk Extended Version (dengan Fitur Olah Video), di IG pernah dibahas selengkapnya tentang perbedaan Standar Edition dan Extended Version
